Frustration

I have spent most of my life staying out of politics. I have strong views, but never before have I felt the need to make myself heard, loud and clear.
I was in middle school and high school during the Reagan Administration and in college during Bush I's Administration. I always felt the country was being taken care of and that I could rest assured that our elected officials had our best interest at heart. I no longer feel that way. For the first time since September 11, 2001, I am actually scared.
What makes it worse is that I have no faith in our current Republican leaders to "take back the House."
I am a strong believer in educating the masses to the true purpose of government and the actual job of government. Most people do not even realize that the Constitution is a limit on government and a protection of states' rights.

I am sure there are many of you out there who are also frustrated. Please feel free to speak your mind and suggest ways in which we can improve the current state of politics in this country.

We have a big job ahead of us.
